he could take a pay cut and still make more because of the low taxes he'd have in miami. win for all of them. i still think the lakers will shut them down. though.

I can still see an epic swerve. This could be some great TV. Cleveland... the entire city... its on suicide watch.

It's sad but true. Me on the other hand, I have too much dignity. The best thing about this is that the Lake Show will be officially cancelled, Miami's pretty much got the god damn US Olympic team.
Pretty piff my Knicks got Amar'e, it's far from enough though. Now if only my dud team from the west could pull off the swerve of the century and land LBJ. (The Clips)

Miami (may) have three players from the Olympic team. The dropoff after them will be pretty steep.

So Miami will officially rape if they land Bosh, Wade, AND Lebron.

Lakers still > Heat. Show me these large ego'd superstars can play with each other for a full season, then Ill believe.

Well, since Kobe can play with anyone, I guess you believe in the Lakers

Completely agree with Bill Simmons' latest column saying that LeBron/Wade/Bosh wouldn't win more than 50 games.
That kind of Olympic success just doesn't translate into the same for the NBA. There aren't as many bargains out there to fill the rest of Miami's roster with everyone looking for a payday prior to the potential lockout in '11. Yes, Miami is looking into signing Mike Miller and dealing Beasley to Charlotte in a big four-team swap later tonight, but there are plenty of other positions left empty.

Although he would be playing with a powerhouse in miami, there is a possibility that while he will still likely be the best "arguably" on the team, all three of three averages will likely go down(let's face it we're not gonna see them all put up top numbers every game alongside eachother, imo. I'd call it "stat sharing") and it would hard to choose an mvp of the three.
It makes me wonder how much he would value winning the mvp for the season, over the likes of kobe bryant, who single handedly changes the teams dynamic, whereas it takes 3 guys to change miami's. The spotlight will have to be shared now.
I dunno, I do agree though the drop off after those three will be pretty steep. Supporting cast is extremely important.

Idk how you can say that the Lakers would be better than the Heat with 2010 'Big 3', or how you can say they have big ego's, when they're more concerned with winning than anything. I'm far from an NBA expert, but jesus christ, Nothing we've seen in the past can compare to what we are all about to see this year in Miami. We are all offically 'witnesses' now. It almost don't matter who your supporting cast is when you have those 3 on the court, If you can make an open 3 that's all you need, There will be so many wide open looks I should sign with the Heat

Wade/Bosh alone is just as good (if not better, but it remains to be seen so I wont go there) as Kobe/Gasol. Throw LeBron in there, and all I gotta say is...

But it's still a team game at the end of the day and having a full roster of guys that are willing to accept their role for the better of the team is what brings a championship, or multiple as in the case of the LA Lakers, not two or three All Stars with a bunch of scrubs to meet the league's requirement.
James and Wade are one in the same when it comes to needing the ball in their hands and, make no mistake about it, Miami would still very much be Wade's team and he would be calling the shots most of the time. Does anyone really think that LeBron will accept playing second fiddle, or as Simmons put it "Mega-Pippen", to Wade's MJ?
There are massive egos under the surface of it all, and that's not to say that Miami couldn't be a formidable foe during the regular season and early rounds of the postseason, but they are not currently constructed to be a Finals-winning team that challenges LA. One significant injury to either of the three or poor performances added with neutralizing one of their scoring options means you have more of a load placed on the shoulders of two of the Big Three and a well-balanced team like LA could pick them apart.
