Toy Story 3 (2010).
Wow. Just wow. Incredible from start to finish. Intense scenes with darker tones than any Pixar film to date. Hilarious bits from the old-timers and the new additions to the toy box, especially Michael Keaton as Ken. Definitely a tear-jerker at moments where the film is designed to make you try as hard as you can to hold back, but good luck with that. Most of all, it is right up there with Toy Story 1 and 2 in terms of overall quality, thus making it the greatest trilogy in film history, as far as I'm concerned.
You have to see this in theaters or on DVD at some point in your life, regardless of how you may feel about toys or Pixar or any of the subject matter. Oh, and the Pixar short beforehand was exceptional and possibly their best to date. The layers of animation are just astounding.
Anyway, Toy Story 3 gets a well-earned 9.5 out of 10 from me.

I agree with your review. Although by the time our movie started(we had an hour and a half delay) I was kinda waiting for there animated short to just end. It was awesome looking though. Really did enjoy the film. Brought back all the old memories while adding new ones. Took a familiar route as the second one did. Nothing to complain about at all. All the characters were funny in there own ways. Was kind of sad at parts but I was ready for it. I would give it a solid 8.5 out of ten. Maybe closer to 9 after I sit here and digest it some more.
After getting a free pass for waiting an hour and a half for Toy Story 3 to start I decided to also check out Jonah Hex. I was hoping for something so bad that it was good. I was wrong. It was only about 70 minutes long and I still felt bored as hell. NO cool action scenes. Nothing was funny. The actors really didnt seem to care about there roles. This was something that could have benefited from an R rating but the studios stuck with a PG13. I was just hoping we could have gotten loads of violence and un needed nudity. But they stuck with a dumb story and barely any action. Not worth a theater visit. 6/10

Just got done watching the 2005 version of House Of Wax, and to be honest, I LOVED it. I don't know if its because lately there hasn't been any good American horror slashers or if its just a nicely done remake but man oh man did I really enjoy this film. I am aware that this is a remake but I have never seen the original. I really liked the main two characters and I though the story and setting was very creepy. It actually kept me guessing for a few parts which was a surprise. I wouldn't call this the typical cookie cutter horror remake. Lots of practical gore effects which I like. Some awesome kills as well. Overall I was impressed, never heard much about this film so I was expecting it to suck. Was happy that I was wrong. Solid 8/10

Rear Window (1954).
I was up early today and had this saved to my DVR for almost three months, so I decided to finally watch it lol. Not quite as suspenseful as I would have imagined, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The fast-paced sequence near the end of the film seems a little hokey now, but I appreciate the effort from a film released the year my father was born. I loved the extensive camera pans and depth of focus that Hitchcock implemented to bring you into Jeffries' acts of voyeurism.
I would say it's worthy of at least an 8.5/10 (I would side with this), if not a 9 out of 10 or higher, depending on who you ask.

A Kiss Before Dying (1956).
Hey, look at that, it's a young Robert Wagner! Some say it's one of his better performances as he begun choosing darker roles, and I would have to agree. I loved how the plot unfolded and every sneaky turn had a purpose to it. It slows down once the sister is introduced, but it all comes together in the end and leaves for a moderately satisfying conclusion.
7/10 from me, but it's a short film in length and I've heard it (the original) is better than the 1991 remake, so check it out if you get the chance.
Also, I just finished watching To Kill A Mockingbird (1962) for the first time as it was also saved to my DVR for a couple of months lol. This is an all-time classic and an all-around phenomenal adaptation from the book, which also happens to be my all-time favorite.
I couldn't say enough about this film but, if I had to limit my words, I would point out, hey, look at that, it's a young Robert Duvall! He and everyone else on the cast does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. The courtroom scenes can drag on a little bit, but I don't know why you wouldn't want to watch this if you've read the novel (and even if you haven't, I'd recommend it, too, a million times over).
Oh, and I would give this a 9/10.

I never was a fan of To Kill A Mockingbird. I just coudnt get into it.
I saw Despicable Me on Saturday morning. Had its funny moments but it also had some pretty lame stuff. After watching such an adult oriented animated film like Toy Story 3 I couldnt help but feel disappointed with this one. 7.5/10
I was also able to get over to the discount theater today and FINALLY catch Roman Polanski's The Ghost Writer. What an AWESOME movie! Looked and sounded wonderful. Loved the suspense and tension. Ending was pretty awesome as well. Easily a 9/10

Just saw the new Predators movie. Was right on par with the first one. I would call it more of a reboot than a sequel. Was pretty awesome. Full of gore and suspense not to mention it just looked awesome wherever the shot it. If you loved this first one... you'll love this one.

Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) - 8 out of 10. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) - 8.5 out of 10.
Both are visually stunning in their own ways, but 2001 is on a whole 'nother level.

A Perfect Getaway (2009) - 4.5 out of 10 Tootsie (1982) - 8.5 out of 10
Plot twist was mostly predictable around the 1 hour mark of Getaway, but there just wasn't enough to impress me here. Casting/direction/you name it were all questionable choices.
Tootsie, on the other hand, is excellent and the improvisations throughout the film, especially all of Murray's lines, are so true to the story itself that it's hard to find fault with it. There's no question that Hoffman's performance is what puts it over the top, but a great supporting cast helps, too.
